Hi Im Steph, an Accredited CBT Therapist for Women experiencing Low Confidence and self doubt

My approach

Self-doubt, anxiety and low confidence dont develop in isolation. Theyre shaped by your experiences, your relationships and the messages you've internalized. With over a decade of experience in mental health and social care, I understand the importance of the wider factors that impact who we become.

We'll work together to:

  • Identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns

  • Understand the roots of your self-doubt

  • Develop practical skills you can use in daily life

  • Build self-compassion alongside self-confidence

  • Create meaningful change that lasts beyond our sessions

Providing you with a safe and confidential space

Your appointments will take place in a private and confidential therapy room in my home in the village of Whatton, Nottinghamshire.


In-person and remote options

I also offer online sessions via Teams or telephone, where you can relax in the comfort of your own home. I have significant experience in adapting therapy for clients online and evidence suggests, it to be equally effective as face to face therapy.

 

Support Offered

  • We will explore what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to get out of our sessions.

  • I offer weekly CBT Therapy for low self esteem and anxiety.

  • I can assist you in developing a relapse plan at the end of treatment to support you to maintain the progress you have made.

  • I can provide a written report mid/end of treatment. This will summarise the support you have received, the focus of our sessions and the progress you have made. This can be helpful if other professionals are involved in your /your child’s care.

Im a therapist who understands first hand how debilitating anxiety and low confidence can be. How it can get in the way of the things you enjoy, affect relationships and prevents you from living the life you want. With hard work and the right support, you can learn to feel confident to show up as your authentic self.
